DETROIT — Ford has yet another option for desert runners with the Ford Bronco RTR.

The latest in Ford’s collaboration with RTR vehicles, this one comes standard with 33-inch tires, a wider track, and higher-clearance suspension.

An available Sasquatch Package adds 35-inch Goodyear rugged-terrain tires and the HOSS 3.0 system with Fox internal bypass shocks. Ford says you can’t get a more capable suspension on the Bronco unless you order a Bronco Raptor.

Another performance goody is a software-based anti-turbo lag technology. This can keep turbo boost maintained while a driver is off-throttle, and Ford says it’s setup for off-roading, which means the system can keep the turbo spooled for sharp response if necessary. For example, Ford says, if the driver is dealing with ever-changing conditions and encounters deep sand.

There’s a 1,000-watt cooling fan from the Raptor, and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels. The Bronco gets a unique grille and Hyper Lyme graphics are a big part of the styling, as is Avalanche Gray paint.

In addition to its debut tonight ahead of the 2026 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the Bronco RTR will be shown at the King of the Hammers off-road race that takes place in February in Johnson Valley, California. The order bank opens in October for a January 2027 on-sale date.
