Recall Alert: 2012-2013 Buick Regal Turbo, GS

Today’s recall alert involves 2012-2013 Buick Regal Turbos and GSs sold or registered in certain states.

General Motors is recalling 17,050 examples of the 2012–2013 Buick Regal in Turbo and GS trims due to a potential issue with the rear suspension.

The problem involves the rear suspension toe links, which may not have received adequate corrosion protection during manufacturing. Over time, corrosion could cause the toe link to fracture, potentially affecting rear wheel alignment and vehicle stability.

The recall applies only to vehicles that were sold or ever registered in certain northern and Midwestern states and the District of Columbia, where road salt exposure can accelerate corrosion. These states include Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and several others across the Northeast and Midwest.

To fix the issue, dealers will replace the rear suspension toe links and the adjuster fasteners and perform a rear alignment adjustment if needed. The repair will be carried out free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026. Owners can contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300 and reference recall number N252537580.

This campaign expands several earlier recalls addressing similar corrosion-related issues with rear suspension toe links, including NHTSA recalls 20V764, 21V633, and 21V00F.
