A report suggests that the Alpine A110 is closer to going on sale in America.
Automotive News Europe is reporting that the car is undergoing American crash testing and could come here as either a hybrid or with an internal-combustion powertrain.
Alpine, a Renault brand, was already looking to enter our market in 2028 with two larger models, probably crossovers, built in South Korea. They’d likely have an electric powertrain. The company backed off due to tariffs and the cratering EV market.
Instead, the two-seat A110 could come here, or, perhaps, a 2+2 version will be sold on our shores.
Could this work? Would the A110 sell in the States? Does it need to add a rear seat? Does the powertrain matter?
Go ahead and sound off below.
