Ford Racing Parts is giving owners of the Ford F-150 and Mustang an opportunity every car owners has wished for at some point during their ownership experience: more power. In this case, an aftermarket kit to install a Whipple Supercharger.
Most aftermarket accessories make a vehicle look faster or meaner, but far fewer actually allow them to walk the walk. Ford’s high-performance racing unit is making it easier for F-150 and Mustang owners to beef of the ponies hiding under the hood with a turn-key supercharger. The kit is for all 2026 F-150 and Mustang models with the iconic 5.0-liter V8 engine.
Developed in partnership with Whipple Superchargers, the kit boosts F-150 performance to 700 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque The 2026 Mustang GT and Dark Horse variants develop even more power with 810 hp and 615 lb-ft of torque when equipped with active valve exhaust (800 hp for standard exhaust).
Unsurprisingly, Ford even offers up a recommendation for which F-150 model to pair up the new aftermarket power module: the 2026 Ford F-150 Lobo street truck. Noting it “serves as the ideal vehicle for this upgrade, now allowing even higher output to match its aggressive stance.”
Perhaps more important than the power numbers are the fact that this new kit comes with factory approval, meaning you won’t void your warranty slapping this setup on the vehicle. It’s engineered to Ford’s 100,000-mile durability standards, ensuring capability and reliability.
“It is the ultimate expression of the Ford philosophy,” the company noted. “By offering factory-backed, warranty-friendly performance upgrades from day one, Ford gives customers the power and peace of mind to take an already incredible vehicle and truly make it their own. It includes a 3-year/36,000-mile Ford Racing Parts warranty. Please note that vehicle maximum speed is not modified from the production configuration.
