Today’s Rare Rides mentioned the Cadillac Catera in passing.

I will admit, I wanted a Cadillac Catera back in the day. I still kind of do.

I know it didn’t review very well with the automotive press, but it looked cool! I can’t recall if I ever drove a used one during my dealership days, and that says something as well — it was neither good nor bad enough for me to remember.

What about you? What U.S.- and/or Canadian-market car was considered a weirdo by enthusiasts and the press, yet you wanted one? Let’s keep this limited to our markets to avoid being here all day lusting after overseas unobtanium.
