Just to be clear, right upfront — I understand a Maybach minivan isn’t meant to sell in large numbers.
Still, I have to wonder, who is the buyer?
Maybach sedans and SUVs, I get. Whether you’re a member of the upper-upper-upper class that likes to be flashy, or an executive being shuttled around town, it makes sense that you’d choose one of these bodystyles.
But a utilitarian minivan? Even accounting for the fact that something like the VLS is going to be setup for space more than utility, it seems silly.
Then again, maybe I answered my own QOTD — maybe a van shape will simply give the boss in the back seat more legroom and headroom.
