The Solar-Powered EV Built for Extreme Range

the solar powered ev built for extreme range

Aptera is a fully electric, solar-powered vehicle engineered for maximum efficiency and range. Its lightweight, ultra-aerodynamic design dramatically reduces energy consumption, allowing it to travel farther than traditional EVs. Built-in solar panels can add up to 40 miles of charge per day from sunlight alone, reducing the need to plug in.

Depending on the configuration, Aptera offers an impressive range between 250 and 1,000 miles on a full charge. Buyers can choose between front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, with 0–60 mph times of 6 seconds and 4 seconds, respectively. Inside, the car features a modern cabin with a large central display and digital rearview and blind-spot assist mirrors.

Starting at around $28,000, Aptera challenges traditional EV design by combining solar power, efficiency, and performance in one futuristic package. Would you switch to a solar-powered car like this?
