QOTD: Is It Time For Infiniti To Move Away From Alpha-Numeric Naming?

qotd is it time for infiniti to move away from alpha numeric naming

Once again, Infiniti may be moving away from alpha-numeric naming.

I feel like I’ve heard the company hint at this before.

Regardless, is it time? Would it be a good move?

Or is the current naming scheme just fine and customers are dolts for not understanding it?

Personally, I think alpha numeric works when there’s a clear intent behind it, the way it once was with Lexus. But I am not sure Infiniti’s system makes sense to anyone not employed there.

What say you? Sound off below.
